Following Neal Shegog’ departure from Rockspring Property Investment Managers LLP, where, in his role as Fund Director, he had commissioned the development of a 115,300 sq ft industrial and warehouse shed, Claymore were retained to monitor the development on Rockspring’s behalf, requiring a proactive role to anticipate and provide solutions to problems, guidance on legal work, cost control and disciplined reporting to the client.
The scheme is well located on a new industrial park, adjoining J14 of the M6. It completed in December 2016, which appears well timed given the demand / supply imbalance prevalent in the logistics sector, leading to early occupier interest. Claymore's role ceased following completion of the development.
